Procrastination

In the vibrant city of Mumbai, we connected with a very eminent architect. This gentleman was very well-versed in the basic principles of Vaastu and had meticulously designed his own office to align with these principles. After moving into his new office, his business flourished, and he secured numerous large projects. However, despite the growth, he found himself struggling with an issue that seemed out of place for someone as diligent as him.

The architect noticed that no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't deliver his projects on time leading to procrastination. Deadlines loomed like dark clouds, and his once unyielding discipline seemed to evaporate into thin air. Frustrated and puzzled, he couldn't understand why his productivity was decreasing.

One day, we met him for a discussion of a project. Fascinated by the Conscious Vaastu® concept, he requested to review his own office. We observed that he had closed all the windows in his cabin and positioned his desk in such a way that he couldn't see the cabin door, in addition to this his cabin was flooded with papers. This layout, although Vaastu-compliant in theory, was blocking the flow of energy, leading to his persistent procrastination and lack of drive.

We explained to him that while his office layout was technically sound, it lacked the vital energy required to boost his performance. The closed windows and obstructed view of the door were creating a sense of isolation. We recommended three simple changes: repositioning his desk to face the cabin door diagonally, organising his desk along with his cabin and reopening a window that he had blocked.

Sceptical yet hopeful, the architect implemented the changes. To his surprise, he started to feel more energetic and connected to his surroundings. The natural light from the window and the clear view of the door revitalised him. Gradually, his procrastination faded, and he found himself completing tasks with renewed enthusiasm. His work quality improved, and his timely deliveries impressed his clients. With the regained energy and focus, he even managed to expand his team, ushering in a new era of success.

Moral: Procrastination

Procrastination is often a symptom of an underlying issue. By addressing the root cause — whether it be our environment, mindset, or habits — we can overcome procrastination and unlock our full potential. Small changes, adjustments, and conscious efforts to create a positive space can make a significant difference in our productivity and overall well-being. Embrace the energy around you, and let it boost you towards your goals.
